Who am I, and why did I start this blog?
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Ever since I was young, I had dreamed of starting a blog. Actually, I dreamed of starting a vlog but I’m not the best at speaking on a camera. My words come out much clearer and easier in writing through blog posts or text messages than through videos.
I am a very passionate person, doesn’t matter what it is, if I’m interested, I’m passionate about it. That is why I have created this blog. I have always loved to write but I could never write story, as I’d never get far enough before I got bored with the subject. Blogs a much quicker and easier to write than a story or novel, and I don’t have to be as formal.
Currently, I’m studying at RMIT University, on a Bachelor of IT. I have spent 6 months in Munich on a University Exchange Program where I studied at the Technical University of Munich. I have hoping to specialize into Web Development, and have a particular interest to ReactJS, a web language.
How my obsession with traveling began
I love to travel. I have always love to travel I think, but I never really had any friends to travel with, usually because they were busy or broke. So when I found out I could go to Germany for 6 months as a student, I knew it was time to travel solo.
That is why in many of my travel blogs, I’m alone. I have quite a few friends from all around the world, but it’s still hard to travel with them. I do enjoy travelling, though I find many of the tourist attractions are not that fun to view by myself, and would much rather share the experience with someone if it is at all possible.
Birds are probably my favourite thing in life currently. I own a blue Quaker named Meelo, who is 3 years old. He is my pet, who I love dearly. I am pretty much obsessed with birds, of all types. Not sure what it is about them that makes me just want to hug them and squeeze them. Conures are very cute as well, and maybe one day I will get a Sun Conure, but for now, one crazy, noisy bird is enough for me and my parents.
